Welcome to Aquila!
Since opening our doors in 1982, Aquila Tours has been on an incredible journey involving a wide variety of aspects of the travel industry, both in Atlantic Canada and around the world.
Today, Aquila's area of excellence is delivering shore excursions to cruise lines when they anchor in the Bay of Fundy and call on Saint John, New Brunswick. At the encouragement of top executives at major cruise lines, Aquila established the Aquila Center for Cruise Excellence in 2007, offering workshops and customized training programs to Tour Operators, Ports and Destinations around the world. As the exclusive training partner of the FCCA (Florida Caribbean Cruise Association), Aquila has spent much time over the past ten years in the Caribbean and Central America, offering certifications and designations to Tour Guides and Tour Operators.
In Saint John, we provide our cruise line clients in our "Living Lab" with a wide array of fantastic excursions for cruise guests - highlighting the Bay of Fundy region's most popular sights and the off-the-beaten-path experiences that only locals can provide. A key to achieving excellence for Aquila has been our dynamic, cohesive team, and throughout our journey, Aquila has held fast to our vision.
Our fun and energized Aquila Team continues to grow and be recognized as leaders in our industry by creating experiences with integrity while supporting professional and personal dreams.
This vision will continue to guide us into the future, as there is always something new and exciting happening at Aquila!
My wife and I want to commend tour guide, Ron, and his presentation and presence during our Hopewell Rocks excursion scheduled by Norwegian Cruise Lines on Wednesday, September 18. Of the excursions scheduled during our cruise, we enjoyed the bus trip and the commentary from Ron the most.

Barb was informative, interactive and made sure we all had a great time. She was one of the top 2 tours we took. Kudos to her being on your team.
We booked a shore excursion and had Al as our driver and Sue was our tour guide. It was a wonderful tour, in fact it was by far the best tour we have ever taken. They were wonderful and so knowledgeable about everything. The tour was very well planned.

We were recently so fortunate to have Jane as our tour guide for St. Martin’s and the Bay of Fundy. She was so informative, humorous and entertaining. It is quite obvious that she loves being a tour guide as she is so warm and welcoming. Thanks for making our excursion so very enjoyable, and we loved the restaurant where we were treated to such a wonderful chowder. Loved the total experience.
